We love cake... who doesn't??
Indigo Cakes began many years ago when I was a young girl. Mum made the best cupcakes for one of my birthday parties, and all I wanted to eat after that was cupcakes!
Coming home from school to the smell of a baking cake was the best feeling ever!
I would help Mum make them whenever I could, and as I got older we would joke about opening up a cake shop! We'd make everything from little cupcakes, to pineapple upside-down cake, carrot, lemon and chocolate cakes to family birthday cakes. My favourite part has always been the decoration, making the cakes personal and giving them a bit of personality!
Now, our little cake shop joke has become a reality, and we couldn't be more happy with it!
